The first MFU story I ever wrote was The Romanian Affair. It was written in 1979 and is pretty raw. At that point I'd not seen any of the episodes and relied upon the books, magazines and TBG's memory for my information. It was first published in UNCLE Special in 1980 and has been reprinted since. I've since tried to rewrite it and it never worked, so I just let it be.

You can see how much you've changed as a writer, but you got off the an excellent start. In 1979, I was still using crayons to write my name :-)
