Section VII events

We're thrilled to have so many new and talented members here on section7mfu. For the benefit of our newest cousins Here's a breakdown of our writing and non-writing events.

We're a writing site, that's pretty much all we do here, and are loving every minute of it. However, we're not just all about writing challenges, as the site is for open posting as well, whether new stories or previously posted ones.

If you've written a gen or gen-mature MFU story, you're most welcome to post it or repost it here anytime!

                     

We have lots to choose from:

Other events on Section VII:

Fridays:  Glennagirl, our fearless leader posts the Reading Room which is her personal reading recommendations.

On Saturdays we have the Writer’s Choice! hosted by mrua7. This is an opportunity for writers  to rec. their own stories and readers to rec. stories by their favorite authors.

The Sunday round table discussion is on a brief hiatus.

Periodically Glennagirl posts a poll with some rather intriguing questions to answer, and also from time to time we have a Round-Robin writing challenge. (with the Halloween Round-Robin being such a resounding success, looks like we’ll be having a Christmas Round-Robin this year as our Yuletide event.)

We add new challenges all the time, or ressurect previous challenge.

Section is a GEN site, but our challenges are open to all preferred genres, be it gen, slash, het, long-term romance, family, or AU, but there are posting requirements.

Gen/Gen mature stories post tosection7mfu,
Pre-slash, slash post on our sister site uncle_du_jour,
Het, long term romance & AU post on our other site mfu_map_room.

       

    

All kept in order by the Calendar Girl who posts the calendar of events at the begiining of the month,
as well as the week's events on Monday. Sometimes an impromptu event will pop up that's not on the
calendar. So it's a good idea to check Section VII daily, and often if you can.
