You are one of a select few I sent Halloween cards to this year. Ran out of cash way too early cause I needed new brakes. Hopefully, there will be no more major expenses until the end of the year. My fridge is bare. ;D

I need to set out my new laser lights for tonight's trick-or-treaters. I'll use the flashing green setting.

I have a mechanical skeleton cat that yowls and snaps its jaws....motion activated. Wow it's 4 pm and no trick or treaters...odd.

Our trick-or-treaters come from 6-7:30 so it'll be almost dark. I have glow horns for my head and a red cape to wear. I usually sit outside wth my neighbor but she has houseguests so I'll be all alone. *sniff*

Had one little girl come by all by herself. Kids don't even say "Trick or Treat..." sheesh.

I debated about putting on a costume but now days if you scare a kid, the parents will call the cops on you or sue you or something like that..

Halloween just ain't what it used to be.

Awwww. I had 25 or so. Not one said "trick-or-treat."
My laser lights looked great and my neighbor came over with her granddaughter to hand out candy. Later she brought over some Hawaiin pizza. So nice to have a neighbor like her.

I'll send my leftover candy home with Riley when he comes to mow next weekend.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, M! BTW, did you read my Halloween Challenge story- "Be Safe, Gentle Stranger"? I'm behind on reading; there are so many great stories. That's a good thing.

Three more showed up around 7 pm, then that was it. Then someone lit a fire in the woods across the street. It was out before the police came, thank goodness.

I haven't read many stories as I was busy cross posting my 3 stories that I wrote for the challenge. They're on Scrapbook, FF.net and AO3. Too much work. Need to catch up on the reading which will take most of next week I'm sure.

Am thinking I'll pass on TfC again this year. Am not too keen about Xmas anymore, depends on my mood in Dec.
