Chapter 1. by ssclassof56 kicks off the round robin on December 6th.
The title of our Round-Robin story is "T’was the UNCLE Round Robin
1. Upon posting your chapter in Section VII, you should pm the next person up in line so they know to go read it.
2. For the sake of continuity, it’s recommended that each writer reads the original prompt as well as the subsequent chapters before contributing their own chapter. Posting is a minimum 100 words with no maximum. As a reminder LJ does have limits on file size, so try not to write the Gettysburg address as you may not be able to post it.
As an addendum: the prompt is a poem but the chapters should not be rhyming or in the form of a poem...just good suspenseful and adventurous writing.
3. Please try to post your chapter as early as possible, ON YOUR ASSIGNED DATE, allowing the next writer enough time to read and compose their chapter.
4. Keep in mind that the tone of the story can easily change with each contribution. The story is open to all sorts of things angsty, scary, silly, creepy, dramatic or even ghostly, and of course evil THRUSHY stuff, but as a reminder section7mfu is a GEN site.
You can classify your chapter as gen-mature for anything that’s a little stronger like violence, angst. Please keep any het mild at most.
5. Use the title "T’was the UNCLE Round Robin" in your subject header along with your chapter number.
6. Please use the following tags: round-robin, Christmas, challenges, Section VII, gen or if necessary gen-mature. Oh and don't forget your 'user name.'
7. IF FOR SOME REASON you find you have a scheduling conflict for the date your chapter is due, then pm one of the other writers to see if you can switch places. Please pm mrua7 or glennagirl asap if there’s a problem!
Here is the schedule for the writers. Please post on your assigned date. If there’s an issue, message me and we can juggle the schedule. Not to worry.

The prompt:
Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the halls,
(Those gunmetal chrome ones
From whence Justice calls)
It should have been quiet
As Christmases past
Had yielded a truce
Among enemies fast
Not so tonight
For the call came in,
'There's trouble in Scotland'
Seems THRUSH sees a win
Now Solo and Illya
Are heading that way
Who else might be with them
We'll see day by day
The weather is frightful
On Loch Awe's bleak shore
And Castle Kilchurn stands
Ravaged and poor
No longer with Campbells
To travel its girth
The halls here are empty
Save the chirping of Birds
The wintry scene
It cries out for reprieve
From the evil within it
From gluttons and thieves
THRUSH must be thwarted
Their plans brought to nought
With UNCLE's best agents
The victory's bought
So let us continue
The story's untold
It's all up to you now
To make it unfold
FYI:
Castle Kilchurn was built in the mid-15th century by Sir Colin Campbell. The four-storey tower, located on a rocky peninsula at the northeastern end of Loch Awe, in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, remained the Clan Campbell's base for 150 years until it was abandoned in the 1700s
There’s lots more of photos of the castle if you want to google for a better look.
