Drugged and dizzy, Napoleon watched Illya struggling in the swaying dinghy.

He stood, thinking to help but the boat rocked, sending him overboard.

Rays of sunlight rippled hypnotically through the blue Aegean surface. His fear of water and drowning gone, with a mindless drug-induced euphoria overwhelming him as he sank; the sea filling his lungs.

A hand drove downwards, breaking the spell and pulling him to safety.

"Not today," Illya said. "Amphitrite will not have you."•
