Illya thought Lisa Rogers had an off-putting manner about her.  He wondered if she was carrying a load of resentment at being confined to Headquarters in spite of being qualified as a Section II after her stint at Survival School.

"Lisa, you look especially pretty… today." Illya knew she didn't like him very much, perhaps one of Napoleon's ploys would garner some good will.

"So do you Illya. Now, Napoleon needs to hustle."

Rude.  The woman was rude.

Why then did Illya feel compelled to bridge the gap?

Why indeed.

Napoleon's ease with flirtation is a gift not quite possessed by Kuryakin. Winning over Lisa Rogers... I don't anyone has done that except for Mr. Waverly.

Oh well done. I recall this cold relationship is out there in fanon. Was it that way on the show; that I can't remember. (time to watch the DVD's again. been a while) Regardless, I really liked your drabble. Interesting way to get into Illya's head.

Thank you. The only time they have any interaction is in the Summit Five Affair. I think Illya's response to her is odd, as though he doesn't like her. Sometimes we do need to review the episodes, freshen up our memory of what actually happened ;)
