This song came to mind, and then the commercial with the dog and his bone... stream of consciousness I guess.

It seemed like a simple task, just get the document from the courier and then turn it over to the next UNCLE agent assigned to this mission.

Simple.

Not.

Instead of an easy hand off, the fellow recognized Illya and had already taken out the courier who was to finish the mission. They needed to get rid of this fellow and call for someone else.

But the document needed to be handled with care.  Napoleon wanted to slip it inside his trench coat, but Illya thought they should hide it and move on, as directed.

This job could be trouble.

Very good! Amazing how something as simple as an old commercial (and I remember this one) can inspire. It sounds like you could continue this as a drabble story?
