"It's All Hallows Eve, the night when the veil between the world of the living and the dead is at its thinnest, and perhaps...something wicked this way comes. Mwaaa haa haaa," Napoleon Solo sat, speaking in hushed tones while surrounded by a bevy of beauties from the secretarial pool, as well as Wanda from reception.

His flashlight in hand, with the lights turned low; he told them a ghostly tale in keeping with the holiday.

The women were entranced, and happily he could sense their uneasiness was growing. Napoleon was delighted at having the undivided attention of so many gorgeous women at the same time, realizing now that a good scary tale had its uses.

Now, in a nutshell, a term that often is quite applicable to all of us I'm sure, here's how it turned out.

Season One faves are Strigas, Gazebo in the MazeNothing, Never, Never and Mad Tea Party.  No surprises, they're all excellent.
Season Two it's Ultimate Computer, Recollectors, Alexander and Nowhere Affair.
Season Three the overwhelming favorite is Concrete Overcoat, with Suburbia and Yo Ho Ho the next most popular.  I voted for Hula Doll, but it isn't really my favorite and I don't know why I put it there.  Although I am partial to the scene with IK in the apartment closet sleeping.  I mean, c'mon, it's irresistible.
Season Four it's Gurnius, Deadly Quest and Prince of Darkness.

The question of how bad is Season 3 had the most responses with 'it had its highlights', and the overwhelming way to fix it would be to remove the stupid humor which, according to [livejournal.com profile] st_crispins is largely the fault of Boris Ingster.  He sounds like one of the Muppets, so I don't think he had a choice in how his work turned out.

Thanks to all who took the time to vote.  Stay tuned for another mind boggling and MFU-centric poll at the end of November.

A big thanks to Avirra, Avery11,Glennagirl, (me, ha-ha) Jkkitty, Renn and Pactnmmt for all joining in on the Writer's Choice on Friday.  We had a few stories that some of us haven't read before, so that worked out nicely.  Thanks to all who took time to comment as well, as I know it's not always possible to do so.

Looking forward to next week's Writer's Choice Day!
