It's almost Summer! Time to break out those flipflops and get some sand between those toes. Hmm could we have a possible theme here? Dig into those Man from U.N.C.L.E. stories of yours to rec her on Writer's Choice!   See if you can find something to suit the season....sand, sun.(you get the idea)                                                                                     WCsummer

I was never able to post this fic to Section VII as I was having trouble with the site and finally just gave up trying.

Summary: This story involves lots of sun and sand but sadly no beach as Napoleon and Illya find themselves stranded in the Chihuahuan desert.

This is a favorite of mine as it was the first drabble story that I ever tried to write, and I was pleased with the end result. I was amazed at how much imagery, drama, angst and dialogue could fit into so few words and still tell a cohesive story.

Comments are most welcome and appreciated! (Btw it's posted under Mlaw)

mrua7 suggested sun and sand, well here it is and in Southern California no less.  Believe it or not, the first story was the inspiration for the second one (formerly Wings of Angels, Prayers of Saints).  I went back and cleaned up what I could see needing work and renamed it Angels Unaware.  I've always wanted to do a follow up with the Original Female Character, just haven't come upon the right storyline as yet.  I hope you can get away from it all with these two very different stories.

A Day at the Beach

I posted this for WC once before, but am reposting by request.  A salute to the first day of summer, if you will.  The link takes you to AO3.
