Napoleon Solo slowly returned to consciousness, but found himself disoriented and unable to see at first. As his eyesight slowly adjusted as best they could in the darkness, he sniffed the air, finding it musty, and still not able to make out his surroundings.
“Good, you are awake, finally,” Illya Kuryakin snorted. His voice came from beside Solo, though to Napoleon his partner’s voice sounded odd, somewhat nasally and congested.
When the American’s eyes finally focused he realized why there was so much pressure in his head; he was hanging upside down, suspended by the ankles with his wrists handcuffed together.
“Are you upside tova…?”
“Yes,” Illya suddenly sneezed, interrupting his partner’s question.
“Gesundheit..”
“Thag you.”
