Challenge #1:

In Season One’s “The Bow Wow Affair,” Mr. Waverly enlists the help of Illya Kuryakin by saying that his cousin Lester Baldwin had witnessed him in an “indiscretion” with a woman many years ago and had never let him forget it. When Lester is killed by his own Great Dane, Alexander does not seem too upset about it, at all. The question is: What was it Alexander Waverly did that Lester held over his head?

Challenge #2

In Season Two’s “The Nowhere Affair,” Napoleon takes Capsule B to temporarily remove his memory of UNCLE. THRUSH scientist Mara is assigned to restore his memory by “arousing his libido.” Of course, she falls in love with him, but even more surprisingly, he falls in love with her. When Mr. Waverly offers a large dose of Capsule B to remove her memories of THRUSH permanently, she says that she will regret forgetting one thing: Napoleon. She then says, “If I’m meant to remember, I will” and Napoleon responds, “In case you should, I shall be around to remind you.” She takes the capsules and, lo and behold, she remembers Napoleon. And she is never heard of, about or seen again. So, whatever happened to Mara? Was Napoleon lying to her, thinking she wouldn’t remember or was he truly caught up in the moment?

The Rules... )

Happy writing!

Here's one that has potential.  The still shot is from The Neptune Affair but on its own there is a story or two that can be told.  If one comes to you the posting begins...
Now.

Title: "Ever get that feeling?"

Illya, do you ever get the feeling we’re being watched, sort of spied upon?” He was looking into a mirror he’d hung on the wall of their office.

“My friend, we’re always in that situation. What is there to feel; it is just a thing to be accepted/”

“I understand what you’re saying tovarisch, but what I’m talking about is different. It’s as if people are watching us all the time. Even during our down time between assignments no matter where we are.”

“Are you saying you think our apartments are bugged? Have you checked for tracking devices?” Illya began searching his clothes.

“No not like that. Have you ever wondered when watching a television set that the people are on the other side can see us, that perhaps we’re in fact the televsion show?”

Kuryakin reached over to his partner’s forehead, though Solo jerked back.

“What are you doing?”

“Trying to check to see if you are feverish as you sound as though you are becoming delerious.  Really Napoleon, us...you and me in a television show? You best not say a word to anyone else, otherwise you will be thought as mad as a hatter and wisked off to the Psych department. I have no wish to break in a new partner."

“I’m not crazy Illya.”

“I know that, but others might not think so.”

“I suppose you’re right, but I just can’t shake the feeling of being watched."

The door to their office opened and in walked Bernadette Belle, the new girl in Section IV.

“Mr. Solo, pardon the intrusion but I have that information you asked Mr. Dennel to get for you.” She held out a small piece of paper.

Illya noted the instant twinkle in Napoleon’s eye, but before he could say a word his partner had invited the girl for coffee in the Commissary.  The last thing he saw was Solo, offering his arm to the young lady as they headed out the door.

“Hmmm, yes, nothing like a distraction,” Illya mumbled to himself as he gazed at mirror before rolling his eyes.

The plot holes in this, are bigger than the story.

..........................................................

Peering through the small aperture, Napoleon Solo couldn’t believe his eyes. He’d only discovered the window when he’d gone to wipe dirt from a mirror in the men’s room. The mirror had wobbled before falling from the wall, and smashing. Jumping away from the flying shards, Napoleon had noticed, the window. Through the window, Solo could clearly see into the female shower room. Ordinarily, he would happily admire the sight, but despite what people thought about him, he was not a voyeur.

“You’re late for your meeting,” announced Illya Kuryakin. “Mandy said you came in here quite some time ago. Are you unwell?”

“Not unwell, but I am sickened.”

He showed his partner what he’d found.

“I shall discover the perpetrator of the despicable act.”

It took almost two weeks, due to Illya having more pressing matters to deal with, but he finally found the culprits. It had turned out to be two maintenance workers, who had been with U.N.C.L.E. for almost 6 years. After the threat of a severe questioning from the Russian, they gave up a further three spy holes. The two were allowed to keep their jobs, but soon found themselves working maintenance for the Antarctica facility.
