Forbidden Fruit - A Little Drabble Do Ya

A basket of fruit was on the table.  Finally April picked up an orange.

"Well, if you guys aren't going to eat one of these then I will."  She proceeded to peel the fruit and then tear off a segment, popping it into her mouth with gusto.

"I'm just not accustomed to it" Illya had excuses.

Mark had also avoided it for some reason. Napoleon was considering.

"You guys are being silly. Fruit is delicious."   April watched the other three staring at an apple.

"How about we cut it into three pieces. That way no one gets too much."

Napoleon crept along a brick wall; his gun drawn and ready.

Garbage cans tumbled, a bottle rolled along the ground, cat yowled...putting him on edge.

Where was the man he was pursuing?

Footsteps running off in the darkness.

Solo moved quickly, cornering his target. He aimed his Special.

“Okay, got you.”

Suddenly something hard jabbed into his back.

“No... I have got you,’ the quarry whispered.

Napoleon spun around, grabbing his wrist, judo-flipping him to the ground.

“You were saying, tovarisch?”

“Fine you win. Next time we toss a coin to see who takes out a new secretary.”

Medals - A Little Drabble Do Ya! -June 10th

Napoleon and Illya winced in sympathy as they watched Mark Slate negotiate his crutches around the commissary tables. He’d recently had his tibia broken in an altercation with a THRUSH goon.

“We should get medals for this job,” he moaned, as he sat down. “What’s that one the U.S. military give to the wounded?”

“The Purple Heart,” Solo told him. “I’m afraid, thanks to our Russian friend here, the idea is unfeasible.”

“What do you mean?” Illya asked, his eyes narrowing with suspicion.

“With your injury list, manufacturing the medals would be a full time industry. UNCLE couldn’t afford it.”
