We've Moved Up!

I don't know how many communities there are on LJ, thousands of them.  The newest stats say that Section VII is at 346, which is actually pretty good.  A few weeks ago we were in the mid 400's, so Big Yay for us.
To all of the writers and readers, lurkers and just curious, many thanks.  If you're lurking, just introduce yourself, we're really friendly here and love to meet new people.  If you're just finding out about the Man from U.N.C.L.E. then the regulars here think it's a great place to start.

He was running hard and as fast as his injuries would allow him. Panting; his breath was easily visible in the cold night air as he stopped to listen.

His head canted to one side; he could make out the footfalls of the man pursuing him, his steps splashing in the rainwater as it pooled on the ground.

Part 1

Illya awoke to an uncomfortable feeling of confinement. Opening his eyes, he found himself facing Mr Waverly, who was tied to a chair a few feet in front of him. He tried to turn his head and quickly discovered why he felt confined. The agent had been strapped to a chair, with thick leather bands which held his ankles, knees, chest, elbows, neck and head securely to the wood.
