Good day to you all.  I have not been here as often as I'd like, RL and such getting in the way. I think next week will be better, and I'm looking forward to more MFU in my day.
For the Reading Room I give you this lovely interlude between friends, one of those that captures so much of who our men from UNCLE are in a short space.  It is  poignant and insightful, a little angsty and thoroughly charming. jadesfire does a terrific job of bringing us along for this rooftop encounter.

A little late... A Little Drabble Do Ya...

"Hey there!"

The blond turned his head slightly to see who had yelled, not sure he was the object of the greeting, such as it was.

"Yeah, you.  I know you."

Now Illya looked straight into the man's face, his recollection of a covert meeting in London placed the man among the ranks of THRUSH.

"Yes, hello.  I believe you are with…" A slight hesitation allowed the other man to introduce himself.

"Victor Marton.  And you, Mr. Kuryakin, if you will please come with me."

Illya's eyebrow shot up.

"Why would I do that?"

A gun provided the answer.

"Oui"
