I wrote this story back in 2012 for our friend laurose8 who asked me to do a Man from UNCLE story that takes place in her part of the world as none have taken place down in New Zealand. It's a nice long weekend read!

I had a major adventure myself researching for this story (and there's lots of it) and I became enamored of the Maori culture because of it, as well as NZ.

It's on my bucket list to visit there!

Thanks to Laurose and rosywonder for their help and advice in writing this MFU adventure!

Summary: Thrush is building nuclear bombs; Napoleon, an Army CID officer and Illya are on the trail of missing enriched uranium stolen from a facility in Virginia, but their assignment takes them in very different directions. A bit of het in chapter 3.

This was originally posted here in Section VII for one of our challenges, although I can't remember which one.  I like it, for its little moral lesson and the scene it conjurs up of playgrounds and little girls still wearing dresses to school instead of shorts and tee shirts.  Call me old fashioned, I think it was a scene worth remembering.
