Posting begins Thursday, June 16th and runs through Saturday, June 18th.  The rules are simple: Write a story of minimally 500 words with no maximum length using the lyrics of one of the songs as a prompt.  The lyrics can inspire your tale, provide the setting for your tale or even be the background music of your tale.  If you are feeling truly inspired, write two tales using both prompts.  Please include the phrase "Song Story Challenge" and the month in the Subject field and use the tag "song stories."

We're fast approaching June 10, the opening day for the Crossover Challenge.  Even if you haven't started yet, there's time for a story because the end is never in sight.  You can post within the 'official' dates of June 10 -18, or if that's not going to work out, just post it with the tag crossover challenge at a later date.  We want to read stories, and they can be any fandom, any genre.  You can even create your own fandom if no one is doing it yet.
Uncle du Jour is the posting site, everything from drabbles to novellas are welcome.  You can post at AO3 with links to that sight, or ff.net in addition to or in place of posting in its entirety, here on LJ.  You can find the Details HERE
