If It's Wednesday It Must Be Drabbles

It's time to get your drabble on... 100 words that say something about MFU.

"How is he?" The same question.
"He's stable. You can go in now if you like." She knew he would. Partners always wanted to be there when the patient woke up.
"Thank you Sherry. Um… "
"What is it Mr. Solo?" He hesitated.
"How do you do this? How do you deal …"
"How do you do your job?" He looked at her with a new intensity.
"What?"
"We each do our jobs, hopefully well. You go into dangerous situations, I'm here when you come home damaged."
Napoleon nodded, respect and appreciation imbedded in the chaste kiss he planted on her cheek.
He opened his eyes with a quiet moan, surveying his surroundings. A hospital room, clean white and sterile.
Not feeling his feet, he looked beneath the sheets in a momentary panic. Everything was there, but numb; his lower legs were in casts.
Wiggling his toes, he found them responsive. Relieved; he searched for any sign of his partner. Was he alive?
A nurse popped in and seeing he was awake; she smiled.
“Illya?”
“Is battered and bruised but fine. We made him go lie down; he was up all night with you. You agents are amazing.”
“He is,” Napoleon nodded.
