A grim resolution had set in among the agents.  Mr. Waverly was in the hands of the enemy, one as yet unknown to them as they headed away into the darkness of a night made more eerie even than what they had encountered within headquarters.  The blackout was going to be the talk of the nation as experts looked for the source, something only the U.N.C.L.E. could explain, but never would.

Hallowe’en Special!!

Hallowe’en falls on a Monday this year so it seems only fitting for the Short Affair to have a spooky theme. To get the prompt words I used an online Hallowe’en word generator.

For those writers who don’t wish to be involved with Hallowe’en, feel free to go back over previous prompts and use one of those.

Grabbing it, he tossed the thing across the room. It smashed against the wall, though the bell continued to ring in its death throes.

Napoleon had invited his partner along on a double date with the Stork twins from headquarters, as they were newest female addtion to the staff.

For once the Russian did not protest as he was interested in Clayina, who'd been assigned to translations. She seemed quite intelligent, among other things.

Napoleon had his eye on Aegina who worked in the secretarial pool. She and her sister were attractive and well endowed, as well as being platinum blondes, all plusses in his book.

Solo decided upon drinks at a cozy little club to start the evening, where they could be more intimate in their conversation.
