Writers, it's time to rec your own stories here (or those of your fave authors) Post links to these tales or repost them to section7mfu.

Readers, pick your favorite stories from the world of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. and post a link to them here.

Writer's and Reader's Choice gives you an opportunity to get your stories out there to be read again or for the first time, as sometimes they just get lost out there in the cyber world.

You asked for it...a Christmas Round Robin.
Now's the time to sign up for
"T'was the U.N.C.L.E. Round Robin"

The prompt is a poem composed by our
fearless leader glennagirl and will
give lots of wiggle room to write.

Same parameters as last time,
minimum 100 word chapters
with no maximum.

The number of writers who sign up will determine the length
and the December start time for the challenge.

Comment on this post to sign up!

Our Halloween Round Robin was a huge success, and
we hope all the writers who joined in will be back again!

What A Turkey

Way back in 2013 I had the bright idea of a whimsical challenge titled What A Turkey (link above)  The premise was a silly story that would have a Thanksgiving theme.  My entry is the story linked below...
Napoleon and the Two Turkeys

If anyone is interested, I propose we re-introduce the What A Turkey Challenge as an Impromptu Holiday Event (not to be confused with Holidays of Dubious Origins Writing Event, aka HODOWE).

This story was originally posted for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Man from U..N.C.L.E.

Summary: Facing a shortage of trained field agents, Alexander Waverly acts upon an innovative suggestion.

(Click on the quote to take you to the story)

"The world we want to transform has already been worked on by history and is largely hollow. We must nevertheless be inventive enough to change it and build a new world." ~Subcomandante Marcos: Le Monde Diplomatique

With Thanksgiving being next week, I thought I would recommend a suitable story. As it turns out, I've only written one. It's only 488 words long, so it won't take much time to read. The link takes you to AO3.

Thankful Non-Americans
