Well, for one thing, there's an Impromptu Challenge on the books, open for posting whenever you can get it done.
There are Once Upon A Time stories waiting to be read, and written if, like me, you haven't finished yours yet.
Song Story prompts are favorites of mine, the Doobie Brothers.  Posting opens on Thursday 15th.
The latest PicFic prompt is waiting, stories post Tuesday 12th.
Short Affair stories started the week, but it's never to late to catch up.

How To Flambé Christmas - Writer's Choice

This story was written for Down the Chimney 2016 on AO3.  The location of the story centers around something I picked out rather randomly, a sandwich in a place called Binghamton, New York.  The sandwich is a Spiedie, something I imagined Illya would like.  So, how surprised was I when watching a movie last night called The Rewrite, with Hugh Grant.  It takes place in, of all places, Binghamton, and includes a scene where people are eating Spiedies.  That, of course, reminded me of this story and so I'm posting it today as my Writer's Choice.
How's that for trivia?

I'm watching the Winter Olympics and imagining an AU or story set before U.N.C.L.E. or an interesting mission that would have Illya competing in the Winter Olympics. Wouldn't he be wonderful ski jumping or ice skating or so on? Illya on the luge...
