What If...

UNCLE is a space age (as in Science Fiction), law enforcement entity that protects EARTH from invading aliens? What if Solo and Kuryakin are all geeked up SciFi heroes and THRUSH isn't earthbound?

A/N: I had a lot of fun writing this story and I kept envisioning Illya reading the bedtime story from a space aged comic book to the little boy in "The When in Roma Affair." Not the scenario from the comic, but think 'geeked up' sci-fi heroes for sure in this story. I was trying to go for a bit of a comic book feel...

Prompt 2:

Solo and Kuryakin spent the day wandering the narrow cobblestoned streets; the colorfully painted streets. The homes and their clay tiled roofs were appeard so tranquil and inviting. Hanging from their shallow wrought iron balconies were baskets of cascading flowers, their heady scents filling the afternoon air. The best part of it all was the fact that no one was chasing them, no shadow following their every step; it was nice for a change.

The prompt:

It was the morning after a night of torrid passion and Napoleon Solo awoke to the hope of an encore before work. Turning over, he found that his date was no longer with him, and the only evidence she’d been there at all was an envelope on the pillow. Solo quickly opened it, expecting a note full of thanks, and a promise of future fun. Instead, the contents of the note caused the colour to drain from his face.

Summary: Illya must take refuge to escape a sudden blizzard in an UNCLE owned house in upstate New York. (This is a long story that ended up working perfectly for me to include the ugly sweater prompt in it)
