Thank you! I this one is finished. I have other stories where Illya deals with 'the others' as he was warned so this story I guess could be looked at as a prequel

On ff.net there's "The unexpected Affair" and from my AU series which takes place in a future where IK is married but must deal with an assignment involving the "Vasily" from the concentration camp. It's a very long story called "The Dancing in the Dark Affair"

Reading my story "Beginnings" gives you a background on it all. I often cross reference to this story as it's the catalyst for so much in my Illya stories.
