Thank you for taking the trouble to give us such a good fic. It's a fine idea, well written and very moving. The ocs are well done, too; with a fine letter from Joanna. The opening scene is hot and romantic both. The closing scene is very solid, and also romantic. The bit about the ring - well done! Also a good idea is the interlude with Candy, showing what will happen afterward.

Even the partner dialogue deserves quoting. I'll confine myself to No pernicious pun?

Thank you for such a great review! I really appreciate. I think I made enough changes in the original stories to make them read differently, like adding the diamond ring. I think it shows Napoleon being himself, in spite of a broken heart. It's the second time for him, so he knows what to do to get over it...though the good thoughts from Sean Óg couldn't hurt. "D
