Thank you for recommending this, as I somehow missed it. Glenna is a superb wordsmith, and this story was wonderfully tense.

Mind you, it was difficult to imagine the bad guy without thinking of a British cabinet minister from the 80's who is also called Nigel Lawson :-)

He's also the father of the television cook Nigella Lawson. I don't know if you know her. I believe she's appeared on American tv a few times.
