between prompts to do so.

Statistical stuff: Minimum 500 words, no maximum.

Subject Matter: Post a MFU story based on the photo prompt.

This reminds me of the ACE book Invisibility Affair by Thomas Stratton. This comment is totally irrelevant, I just remembered the phrase "invisible dirigible".

It reminds me of the Hindenburg Disaster (there's silent news footage of the tragedy online if you're interested.)

Yeah, it reminded me of that too. My mother worked for the insurance company in New York that handled the disaster and had first hand experience dealing with the Nazi representatives. Her maiden name was Dutch, but to them it sounded like something else. They let her know of their displeasure having to deal with her as they had incorrectly assumed she was Jewish. It gives me shivers just recalling her telling me the story.
