Sorry this WIP is taking so long, you know that's not like me, but my muse is still giving me a hard time after hiding under the bed for a few weeks...or she went on vacation without me, (I'm not quite sure) On the downside, while under the bed, she did not recover any of my still missing socks, on the upside, she found a lot of cat toys....

I'm enjoying this story. Each entry is worth the wait.

I wonder if your muse has seen mine in her wanderings. I've had the germ of an idea for the Great Episode challenge but haven't been able to develop it further.

I agree with ssclass about it being worth the wait. That's a lovely Golden Age puzzle “So we have a missing corpse apparently dead of a gunshot wound who gets up and walks out of the morgue and is found drowned in the East River with a time of death approximately three hours ago. No sign of a gunshot wound I might add.” Ellery Queen would have loved it.

I must also quote Illya could do that to him with one just look and now here he had a dog doing the same thing.

(So that's what's happened to all Samantha's cat toys.The muse packed them with her when she left. Well, wll, live and learn.)

This is absolutely brilliant!! You can't beat a good old mystery and you've got me well and truly hooked. And, Yaaayyy, for Ducky Mallard.
