I honestly don't intend to have WIPs. I start out with a pretty complete idea, then that darn muse throws in all sorts of unexpected scenarios. And partway through, she up and goes on vacation. Bah!

While I wait for her to blow back into town and help me complete The Breach of Promise Affair, here's a link to Death in the Forecast, a story I managed to get out of her in June. Maybe it will coax her back. :)

I think most of our muses went on vacation together. I'm struggling to finish a Summer of MFU story...before Labor Day arrives. I've missed 2 of my own PicFics too. Not having a computer doesn't help but a cousin sent me a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad and that should solve my computer issue. Today's the day for me to get it up and running.

Hopefully our muses will be merciful and return to us soon!

My iPad and keyboard is how I write too. I have to be mobile and wander about. My best ideas tend to come when I'm folding laundry or doing dishes.

Since I don't have my own washer and dryer, I have to drop my laundry off in the laundry room in my apartment complex, which is not a place conducive to thinking up scenarios. I have so little laundry to do that folding doesn't give me much thinking time.

I usually am inspired by of all things, commercials for movie trailers, or news headlines. But right now an inspiration could hit me smack in the face and I'd miss it...sigh.
