section7mfuIt's baa-ack! The summer's almost over, the kids are starting to go back to school and the Song Story Challenge returns! I'm hoping to see lots of original stories generated this season.
For the new Cousins and anyone who might need a reminder, the Song Story Challenge features two songs performed by the same artist. Cousins are asked to choose one and write a minimum 500 words story using the song as the basis of the story, the inspiration for it or the background for the it.
The challenge is issued the first Thursday of the month and the posting of the stories begins the third Thursday of the month. If your muse deserts you and doesn't reappear until later, not to worry; you can always post your story at a later date, just include the month in your Subject field.
Section VII is a gen site, but if you are inspired to write a slash or het tale, you may post them in uncle du jour and mfu map room, respectively. Wherever you post, please use the tag "song story."
The prompts for this month's challenge are "Keep Bleeding Love" and "Run." You can click on the links for the lyrics.
