I detest racism, and although I occasionally allude to it in my stories, I usually avoid addressing it directly. I love the way you handled this story, with kindness, gentleness and sensitivity. The story comes across so well. Thank you for it. :-)

Superbly done! I love the way Illya allowed due process to deal with the bigots. He could so easily have set out on a course of revenge.

How did I miss this??? First of all, I love what you did with the prompt; I felt Illya's pain when he realized it was a terrorist attack against his own people and Napoleon's realization of hateful his people can be.

Secondly, I would love to see this expanded.
