I detest racism, and although I occasionally allude to it in my stories, I usually avoid addressing it directly. I love the way you handled this story, with kindness, gentleness and sensitivity. The story comes across so well. Thank you for it. :-)

Thank you for such a kind comment. I agree that dealing with bigotry can be difficult; sometimes the truth of it can be washed over with melodrama.
