For the benefit of our newest cousins: Here's a breakdown of our writing and non-writing events here on section7mfu (apologies if I missed anything...let me know if I did)

We're a writing site, that's pretty much all we do here, and are loving every minute of it. However, we're not just all about writing challenges, as the site is for open posting as well. If you have any question, don't hesitate to ask!

If you have written a gen or gen-mature MFU story,you're most welcome to post it or repost it here anytime!

Fridays:  Glennagirl, our fearless leader posts the Reading Room which is her personal reading recommendations. (on Hiatus at present)

On Saturdays we have the Writer’s Choice! hosted by mrua7. This is an opportunity for writers  to rec. their own stories and readers to rec. stories by their favorite authors.

The Sunday round table discussion is on a brief hiatus. At the moment Glenna is hosting Sunday Pictorials...last one was of Illya disrobing in The Pop Art Affair...sigh

Periodically Glennagirl posts a poll with some rather intriguing questions to answer, and also from time to time we have a Round-Robin writing challenge.

We plan to have an event the week before Halloween, so keep your eyes open for that.

The 50th Anniversary of the end of the MFU TV Show challenge will be coming up December-January. Glenna will post details down the line.  It will be hosted on AO3 and is open to all genres.

That's a full calendar! I think we're going to set aside the 50th event, however. Too little response regarding it makes me think it's one too many. I like the Poll from UNCLE :D

Maybe if you did it with sign ups like DtC, and the 50th Anniversary a few years ago...have check in's, with rough drafts due by a certain date?

If not then how about a Round Robin based on the same concept of having the show end differently?

I really like the RR idea, it takes the pressure cooker effect away. Let's do that, it sounds more fun :D

I actually had a great idea for the 50th ending challenge... the problem is, the idea kept growing to the point that it'll be too big and require multiple chapters, oops. Whether there is a challenge or not, I probably will post it throughout January.

Even if the challenge runs, multiple chapters are fine as long as it would be complete when posted.
