The Letter - Writer's Choice

Have you noticed how, when writing our stories for MFU, one thing sort of leads to another?  I start out with an idea and as I write there appears something else that is related but not intended for the story in progress.  So it is with this one, it grew out of another story and tied in to yet something else unrelated to the original idea.
And so I am giving  you a progression of stories as we come to an end of the year.  The first of the two was the last story I posted in 2012, our innaugural year on Section VII.  Which reminds me to say 'thank you' to everyone who has been involved for the past six years of writing and reading here.

Thank you for a fine read. You got a lot of good stuff into one short story. (As a fellow Illya/Marion fan, I do like that bit at the beginning.)
