I'm a student of genetics (a hobby, not my profession), so I found this story fascinating on that level. Of course, you came through wonderfully on the writing front, too - our heroes in character, interesting plot, the return of a villain, etc. Am very much looking forward to the rest of this series.

Thanks very much. My knowledge of genetics is pretty sketchy - just at the level of the interested amateur - so it's as well I looked it up (!)

I'm not sure where to take the series, so you may have to wait till inspiration strikes, but thank you for the encouragement.
