Well done! Touching but heart wrenching. The ending helped bring a nice warmth to it without making it overly sentimental.
Have you ever read my story "Beginnings" ? It's a similar Illya background story but with more detail on his survival and what he went through. Did a lot of research for it. It was actually my first epic sort of story in the MFU fandom.
