(Having the standard Northern European complexion of pale skin and rosy cheeks, I've spent a small fortune on green concealers and green powders. It's an expensive business trying to make yourself look like the recently deceased, LOL)

Really glad you liked the story. I tried to keep it from getting too silly, which it could have easily done. My favorite line is Napoleon looking at himself in the mirror.

Love your comment! I have the same complexion and when I worked a local department story the cosmetics ladies would give me samples. I gave up on the green goo eventually as it was too expensive. I've since found a nice light foundation that does the trick with a little powder to set. I don't wear make up that often. Sadly my eyebrows are going white just like my hair, so now I need to pencil them in. My eyelashes that used to be long and luxurious and didn't need mascara, have now become thin. Such is life when getting older.
