(For some reason, this puts me in mind of one of the Discworld novels. The Wizards of Unseen University must finish a pencil before they can ask for another. This leads Death to ask 'how can one prove an absence of pencil?')

Thanks, glad you liked it. I've read one or two of the Discworld novels and enjoyed them for the one-liners and general witty intelligence but found it all a bit unrelenting, something to be taken in smaller, enjoyably-digestible doses.
