I liked the narrative very much, and you dug into his psyche very nicely. I think you could definitely expand this piece with dialogue, conversations with the doctors and with Illya. Napoleon's feelings could come out even more in the brief conversations.

This was very well done, and it looks like your muse is being cooperative again. YAY!

Don't say that too loudly, LOL. There's every chance that this could just be a one off (though I hope not).

I'm glad it worked, as I wasn't so sure it would. it seemed okay, but you can never tell until you get feedback. As with everything I write, I'll add it to the 'to be extended' pile :-)

I think (she whispers) that the 'extended pile' is so tall that it's beginning to teeter. (that holds true for me as well)
