Although the science in this is utter rubbish, I find I can easily accept it as an explanation. I've watched a lot of Doctor Who in my time, so impossible science isn't a problem :-)
I absolutely loved Illya's need for a recognition of his intelligence, and not getting it :-D

There's a great quote, by George Burns, on the lines of "if you can fake sincerity you've got it made", which seems appropriate here. Thanks for accepting my rubbish! But poor Illya is doomed to cast pearls before swine.

Thank you for this story. You filled in the gaps with science as plausible as any on the show (reanimating the dead, controlling bats, etc), which is more than the episode writers did. I liked the added scenes of Illya and Murphy, especially the final one. :)
