Illya Kuryakin hated THRUSH drugs, and the headache he was now experiencing felt exactly like one from the Hierarchy's abundant supply. He didn't know where he was or how he got here, had only a vague image of the projection he and Napoleon saw in the ship's dining room. In the midst of his head's agony he realized there was not any motion beneath him; he was no longer at sea. Where he was would be a mystery left unsolved for the present.
Napoleon stood alone in the dining room's dim light and attempted to find a strategy of some sort. Nothing came to him. He was on a ship that appeared to be empty, except for the voice on his communicator. But was he really on board? He had to be, Illya was gone... taken. Someone else had to have been here in order to ambush his partner.
Just as Solo was ready to start searching the ship once more, he was overcome by a noxious fume emanating from the same portal that had broadcast the image of the madman. Too late he realized it, and was soon caught in the effects of it, consciousness escaping him as he spiraled into a nightmare of garrish faces and the unmoving body of Illya Kuryakin.
