Thank you! Funny how that is with some stories, you just want to read them over and over. There was a definite Dr. Who weeping angel influence in this one.

Now that I'm able to get the BBC channel again I could watch the show again, but I'm not thrilled with a female Doctor. Once David Tennent was done I lost interest in the series and then they took the channel away, though it didn't matter.

I don't like Jodie Whittaker as an actor, and was disappointed that she was chosen as the first female doctor. We're three episode into her run and, because the show is still strong, and the other characters are good, I can put up with her. I survived Christopher Ecclestone :-)

Don't know Jodie Whittaker from a hole in the wall. I just wish they hadn'tadn't chosen a female Doctor. To me it feels like a role that should be a male's. Same thing with James Bond, there's talk about having a female JB...seriously. A female Thor also. Why can't they come up with some more strong, original female characters?

I actually liked Christopher Eccleston in his single stint at the doctor. I like the Manchester accent I suppose as I was used to it because I have a friend from Manchester. I've always liked Eccleston as an actor.

Didn't like Matt Smith and only watched a few episodes. They kept changing the time the show was broadcast so that became annoying...then they took the BBC channel away.
