“Why did Waverly send us here again?” Napoleon asked his partner who had his nose buried in the file.

“Napoleon, will you ever read the mission reports?” Illya angrily asked.

“I heard what he said but can’t believe it.”

“Okay, let me go over it again. Since 1962 Louisiana closed hunting for alligators in order to allow them to flourish and replenish their numbers. Within the last couple of months, a major number of alligators have disappeared and the increase of produces became available for sale.” Illya read from the mission report.

“There has always been poaching and sale of alligator items, so I don’t understand what’s is so special about this time?”

“Each sale is bringing in thousands of dollars, and Edward Crocker is the main seller of these items,” Illya explained.

“The Edward Crocker who is the head of Thrush here?” Napoleon asked.

“The same. The increase of Thrush activity has increased since this has begun. Our mission is to see what is going on, and if needed put a stop to it. Perhaps I wouldn’t need to go over this, if you had read yourself,” Illya answered frustrated at his partner’s dependence on him to relying on his information.

As they disembarked from the plane, Napoleon took a deep breath. “Well, partner, let’s go find some alligator belts.”
