Sometimes... A Little Drabble Do Ya

A drabble vignette based on the Concrete Overcoat Affair.  

The blond was furious over the turn of events that had landed him on this remote island. 

And the girl. 

From the beginning she had been victimized by this entire affair, and now her life was at risk.

That crazy Thrush assassin would gladly kill Pia for the sake of her revenge on the man in charge of this installation.

And what about his feelings?

Why was he drawn to this girl, the one Solo had lured into helping him back in Italy?

She had told him that he, Illya Kuryakin, was a nice man. 

Well, sometimes he was.

Sometimes.

Thank you, I love that little scene with them in the cell. It has a lot going on that has little references later in Illya's concern for Pia's welfare.

He is dangerous, and sometimes the confrontation between duty and desire must cause some distress. I think his response is much different to Napoleon's in these situations. There is an underlying wistfulness to explore what is denied him, for now.

I agree completely. It's the light and dark, constantly trying to find aways to co-exist, that makes Illya so fascinating. Purity of soul warring with the primal need to survive.
