Throwbacks...

Someone very kindly left a Kudos on a story on AO3, a PicFic from 2015.  In looking at the original comments here on LJ, and one on AO3, it seems the general consensus was that it needed either a prequel, sequel or both.  I was very surprised at the response, and obviously have done nothing about writing more for it since it still stands alone.
Is this story something that would be of interest as a group project, possibly Call and Response or Round Robin?  I'm thinking perhaps it does deserve more attention, and looking forward (after completing ABC), we might have a joint effort to make it complete.
