You know what to do... Oh, and since it is Columbus Day (see note at end of entry), here in the U.S., it's appropriate to take note of the accepted facts about who 'discovered' our continent.  It wasn't Columbus, although his arrival, albeit by mistake, did foster the flow of early immigration away from Europe and across the deep blue seas.  History isn't neat, it just is.

About Indigenous

The world's indigenous peoples represent a vast array of cultural diversity and ancient history. In fact, historians and DNA scientists now believe that Aboriginal Australians represent the world's oldest civilization, stretching as far back as 50,000 years into the past.

Did you Know?

In recent years, the U.S. has seen a growing movement to convert Columbus Day to Indigenous People’s Day, as a way to recognize our nation’s original residents rather than the person sometimes credited with erasing them from history. As of 2019, seven states officially celebrate Indigenous People’s Day (or something similar), along with many cities and local jurisdictions.

Mr. Waverly contemplated his two top agents. Napoleon Solo was dedicated, charming and had learned his craft well. Survival School, the Army, his time in Korea and his experiences as a young agent up to the present have given the man the skill and expertise he needed to succeed. Mr. Kuryakin however seemed to have an indigenous skill that enabled him to survive a childhood that would have broken most. This innate ability served him growing up, his time as a Soviet agent and now as an UNCLE agent. No matter what path the two men took to arrived at this moment in time Mr. Waverly knew UNCLE was lucky to have them.

As Solo and Kuryakin traipsed through the dense underbrush Illya came to a sudden halt. "I think you have a problem my friend."

"Don't tell me tovarisch, a poisonous snake just slithered up my pant leg."

"Not quite, but poison is the operative word; you are wrapped in a plant not indigenous to this area."

"Don't tell me,"Napoleon was afraud to look.

"Poison Ivy," Illya said.

"I told you not to tell me..."

(Better late than never - it's still the 14th somwhere...)

After another successful mission, April Dancer had time to kill and was spending it walking around the museums and galleries of London. Her partner, indigenous to the city, had disappeared to seek out his old haunts, leaving her to wander around at her own pace. That suited her just fine though; she enjoyed the calm tranquility of wandering around at her own pace and being able to take in the art and culture that surrounded her. It was her favourite past time.
