About Hoarfrost

"Hoarfrost" basically just means frost, but it can specifically refer to the light covering of white that forms when dew freezes. Hoarfrost occurs in any situation where there’s excess moisture that quickly freezes.

The morning dew became hoarfrost as sudden drop ib temperature covered the landscape with a ice crystals. It was beautiful, that was until Solo and Kuryakin stepped from their vehicle; the grass beneath their feet crunched and snapped into pieces.

"This is unnatural," the Russian whispered. "I think it best we get back inside the car now." He looked down at their shoes and saw the hoarfrost had begun to spread onto their shoe leather.

"I'm with you," Napoleon said."Let's get out of here before we become Frosty the snowman."
