Limpid Pools - A Little Drabble Do Ya! - February 19th

Prompted by the word of the day,which was 'Limpid'. Also,although it's gen, it does flirt a litte with Het, but not too much.

“Your eyes are like two limpid pools,” Napoleon whispered, as he leaned to kiss Maria.

“Limpid!” Maria exclaimed, pulling away. “That’s not very nice.”

“What? It means clear,” Solo explained. “Like clear blue waters.”

“Really?”

Maria frowned. She’d never heard the word before but it sounded sort of ugly. Thinking about it, she put it down to the first four letters. ‘Limp’ conjured up images of, not only leg injuries, but of certain parts of a man which were no use limp.

“Whatever it means,” she said, pulling Napoleon towards her. “Just keeping telling me how nice my eyes are.”
