Bee Musings - A Little Drabble Do Ya

For World Bee Day...

Illya Kuryakin was waiting for his partner to show up to their agreed upon meeting place.  Sitting in the open space of a well manicured park, the Russian noted a buzzing sound.  

As Napoleon approached he slowed his stride to watch his friend staring at some flowers. He couldn’t tell what it was that attracted Illya’s attention, save the flowers themselves, until he finally got to where he was seated.

“Bzzzzzz….” Illya turned, a small smile in response to the sound Napoleon made.

“Yes.  Actually, I envy them a little.”

“You’re jealous of bees? Why?”

“Their  work has a reward.”
