section7mfuI don't have pets — just these on a mantelpiece. If I had the real thing, I'd need a very big bath tub, and possibly a cage. As it is, they swim and fly free and I don't have to feed or clean up after them.
The tile is a copy from a fresco at Akrotiri, the ancient village on Santorini, buried by a volcanic eruption around 1600 BCE.
