Gaguing Interest

 I'm wondering if folks would be interesting in participating in an MFU fandom-based benefit for orgs working in/on the borders of Ukraine, along the lines of Fandom Loves Puerto Rico but probably smaller in scale and maybe not exactly with an auction model, depending on how many people are actually interested and in what capacities. 

Anyway, I'm maybe getting ahead of myself, but I've been thinking lately about how I and other others in the fandom have drawn a lot of creativity and inspiration from Ukrainian history in our MFU fannish pursuits, and it would maybe be appropriate for us to take a little collective initiative irl. Lmk what you think <3

Interesting idea. How will you decide what organization is legitimate and most in need? (I we only raise a couple hundred dollars it should probably go to one place to reduce currency loss and handling fees for the organization.)

I've been thinking about this also. I've already had a few suggestions from folks and done a little research, so I'm hoping to post a poll by the end of the week, where anyone who's interested can help pick where the money would end up.
