The poll was here.  The results seem to indicate that for the most part we like to say what we think and in so doing clarify to ourselves what it is we are presenting.  If others do the same and write a good story, so much the better.  That's the gist of it, and since it's all about personal opinions and how we present ourselves, the subject remains vague and entirely without rules.  I suppose that's a good thing.
